Will it tangle or pull my hair?

You only place a section in the open slot between the two prongs. Keep sections small and smooth, and slide the curler out after the beep.

Will the heat damage thinning or grey hair?

It has three heat settings, about 340, 375 and 410 °F (170, 190 and 210 °C). Use the lowest for fine, colored or grey hair and a heat protectant, as with any styling tool. It also switches itself off automatically.

I'm not good with curling irons. Can I do this?

Yes. There is no wrapping or twisting. Place the section, hold the button about 15 seconds, wait for the beep, done.

I'm over 50 and my hair is finer now. Will it work for me?

Yes. Use the lowest setting (about 340 °F) for fine, colored or grey hair, take smaller sections and a heat protectant, and let each curl cool before you touch it so it holds longer.

Does it work on shoulder-length hair?

Best on hair from about shoulder length (roughly 8 in / 20 cm) and longer. On shorter hair it gives a soft bend rather than a full curl.
